Problem:
Characters who rely solely on Armour are not protected against Elemental Damage.
Solution:
Add more Maximum Elemental Resistances to areas of the passive tree that have Armour in them.
Specifics:

More access to maximum Elemental Resistances has been provided to Armour areas of the Passive Skill Tree in order to shore up the weaknesses of Armour-focused characters.
WOW!!! With 3% more maximum resistance all it's done!! now my Gladiator is very tanky *_*
No more spell block but 85% melee block and 3% more maximum res. That's a great job!! ;-)

math...
100 dmg - 75% = 25dmg
100 dmg - 78% = 22dmg
22dmg x 100 / 25dmg = 88%
75% to 78% = 22% less dmg taken

are you serious?? Explain your math to Atziri Flameblast or Shaper Beam and let me know if it works... :)
12K dmg -> 3K dmg -> 2.6K dmg
What do you think is better between 78% spell block chance and -3% dmg taken?

Shaper beam cares not for your spell block chance and rather just bypass blocks for hitless dot damage. :P
But seriously though if you REALLY want spell block... there's still bone offering necromancer/ascendant to hit those juicy block numbers. :V
