Life and Mana Leech from Critical Strikes are instant, and diamond shrine

does diamond shrine make this property apply on every hit? i just read another thread diamond shrine does not turn main hand chance to 100%, and applies after the attack. im unsure if this property is always on with diamond shrine.

no, it's capped at 10% of your max life by default (affected by Maximum Recovery per Life Leech).
