Low Damage Righteous Fire

Hello, this is my first character in poe and im playing righteous fire champion. My damage is pretty low compare to others and i always died, i know that i should increase my ele resistances to be tanky but if i do that i will be sacrificing more of my righteous fire damage which is not a good idea, i guess.
